  • software development and participation in every stage of its implementation (concept development, analysis + research, design, implementation),
  • proposing new solutions,
  • integration with internal microservices,
  • creation of APIs for the mobile application.

Our key expectations

From the person working in this position we expect:

  • basic knowledge of PHP 7 and object-oriented programming,
  • basic knowledge of SQL language and MySQL databases,

What kind of people are you looking for?

We are at such a stage of development that what we need most are committed and responsible people.

By commitment, we mean the ability to actively propose organizational, technical, tool and business solutions, look for ideas for development, be helpful and communicative.

By responsibility, we mean a natural tendency to take more than average care of the tasks entrusted to you, and to look for solutions to difficult situations on your own.

In other words, if you are looking for a high degree of autonomy, freedom and self-reliance, but are also able to bear the resulting responsibility - Salesbook is for you.

What is creativity to you?

For us, creativity is the ability to implement ideas.

Most people have pretty good ideas, most people know what should be done, or what some part of reality should look like. But only creative people can go a step further and find a way to implement an idea under mostly unfavorable resource conditions.

That, for us, is true creativity.

I work in a software house, but I'm fed up. Will it be better at your company?

We don't know how it is in all software houses, but we can share the experience of people who came to us from such companies.

  • At Salesbook, we don't do anything "off the shelf." Everything we produce goes to real customers who use the functions of our application. You know how users react to your work and what needs to be done to make our app even better.
  • You have a lot of freedom in terms of what you do and how you do it. You can suggest solutions and tools, optimization in workflow, etc. We listen to what you say, because that's why we hire you, to make Salesbook a better product.

Does Salesbook provide an opportunity for growth?

Definitely yes, if someone really cares. Motivation for development is provided through the independence of our employees, who have to look for optimal solutions to their ideas.

Of course, these employees are supported through managers with 15+ years of seniority who provide mentoring support. But we believe that real knowledge and experience is forged in daily work, and not necessarily in endless training sessions.

What's more, at Salesbook you can develop within a vertical path, but you can also change your professional profile and move to another department.

Salesbook also distinguishes between development aimed at being a manager in the future and strictly expert development. If you don't have a calling in you to manage people, we respect that and allow you to continue your field development.

How will I be evaluated?

Let's start with the fact that all positions in the company, at all levels, are accurately described in terms of expectations and responsibilities, as well as salary ranges. This knowledge is available to all employees.

At appropriate intervals (annually, or at a time that requires it), the employee and his immediate supervisor fill out an evaluation sheet. Its purpose is to discover the extent to which the employee meets the objectives for the position in the following areas:

  1. Integrity
  2. Commitment
  3. Responsibility
  4. Respect
  5. Domain knowledge

On the basis of such an assessment, a score is created that shows where the employee is in his development, whether he can count on a promotion or a raise, or whether it is time to change departments or look for his opportunities outside Salesbook.

What kind of salary can I count on?

All salaries in Salesbook are determined on the basis of current industry reports, on the basis of which we create so-called salary spreads. They are quite spread out, just as the ability of individual candidates to perform the tasks assigned to them is spread out.

The salary level is also linked to the result of the periodic evaluation. The employee thus sees in what direction he should develop and what he should improve in order to earn more.

Are there any other benefits besides salary?

If the question is about the Multisport card and Fruit Fridays, the answer is no. We believe that everyone at Salesbook earns enough to ensure their entry to the gym and a banana. Nor do we want to decide how employees spend their salaries.

Instead, the company pays for employees' courses, training and tools. We also organize team-building events on a fairly regular basis.

And one of the most important fringe benefits at Salesbook is the ESOP, or employee stock option program. Employees at the appropriate level in the organization's structure acquire the right to acquire options for shares in the company in the form of stock.

What is the recruitment process like?

Once the application is submitted, it is reviewed by the people in charge of recruiting for the department. If the application is of interest, the person makes an appointment for a 30-minute preliminary interview.

If this interview goes well for the candidate, he or she is often given additional tasks to perform at home - their purpose is to test hard skills.

If the task is done at least well, the candidate goes to a company-wide interview with the person responsible for recruiting and so-called "raising the bar. The purpose of this interview is to determine whether the candidate meets the soft qualities expected by the organization.

If the result is positive here as well, we begin negotiations on the details of employment. Completed successfully for both parties, they lead to the start of work, which is preceded by a several-day onboarding course.
